This term we started a topic study on the titanic. I was reading through a titanic book and found some info about how many people were saved. Heres some data I found out.
1st Class Men Saved - 31%
1st Class Men Lost - 69%
1st Class Women + Children Saved - 93%
1st Class Women + Children Lost - 7%
2nd Class Men Saved - 11%
2nd Class Men Lost - 99%
2nd Class Women + Children Saved - 81%
2nd Class Women + Children Lost - 19%
3rd Class Men Saved - 14%
3rd Class Men Lost - 86%
3rd Class Woman + Children Saved - 47%
3rd Class Woman + Children Lost - 53%
Crew man Saved - 22%
Crew Man Lost - 78%
Woman Crew Saved - 86%
Woman Crew Lost - 14%
70% of all Women, Crew and Children were Saved - 374/531
30% of all Women, Crew and Children were Lost - 199/531
17% of all Men and Crew were saved - 332/1692
83% of all Men and crew were Lost - 1360/1692
38% of the whole ship were saved.
MATHS
Also in maths this week to go along with my activities I have been doing on converting and multiplying measurements I made a DLO in a presentation website called emaze.
