This term we started a topic study on the titanic. I was reading through a titanic book and found some info about how many people were saved. Heres some data I found out.

1st Class Men Saved - 31%

1st Class Men Lost  - 69%

1st Class Women + Children Saved - 93%

1st Class Women + Children Lost  - 7%

2nd  Class Men Saved - 11%

2nd  Class Men Lost  - 99%

2nd  Class Women + Children Saved  - 81%

2nd  Class Women + Children Lost  - 19%

3rd Class Men Saved - 14%

3rd Class Men Lost - 86%

3rd Class Woman + Children  Saved - 47%

38% of the whole ship were saved.

Also in maths this week to go along with my activities I have been doing  on converting and multiplying measurements I made a DLO in a presentation website called emaze. 

Term 4 wk4 reflection

This week in maths I completed a net activity on maths buddy at home. Heres some of the questions I answered.

Also last week a group of us went to Christchurch for a choir festival. Other than the concert one of my highlights would have been going tenpin bowling. I was in a group with some of my friends from Grey Main and a few people from Paroa school. I was lucky enough win with 104!\

WK1 Reflection Term 4

In maths this week one of the things I learnt was adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. Heres a slide on my understanding for it.

Another Thing I learnt this week was about keeping safe and DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.

In Senior G.A.T this week we worked on learning a different language, I chose to learn Spanish. Part of learning the language we
made a slide on the country that speaks it. Here is mine on Panama...

Book Week!

A few weeks ago we had Book Week! As a class we made a door display for a competition against Team B. We based it off the book Wizard of Oz and we were lucky enough to to win... Because we are amazing!

T3 week 6 Reflection

For an Olympics activity I chose a country to find out a little bit more about. Here is my presentation about Greece.
 

Also A few weeks ago a year 7-8 team went to Cantamaths to compete. I was lucky enough to be in the Year  7 team. There were 100 teams competing and for every question you get right it earns you five points. There are a total of 20 questions and we got 60 points meaning we got 12 questions right. Every competitor gets a certificate like this.
