Genre: The genre would be fantasy because there are talking animals involved.

Summary: This book is about a clever little fox named Fantastic Mr. Fox. He lives underground beside a tree trying to feed his wife and 4 kids. To feed his family he has to sneak into 3 farms that are owned by cruel farmers named Boggis, Bunce and Bean. These weren't just weekly visits they were nightly visits.  Fantastic Mr . While they were doing that underground Fantastic Mr Fox was trying to dig deeper. The farmers were determined to get that fox so they tried so many different things. Grey Main Commonwealth Games

At our school we did the commonwealth Games. The Queen was our principal and we even had a baton with a message unfortunately it hadn't been passed around the commonwealth countries. The whole school got put into a country and mine was Samoa. There was all different types of games like lawn bowls, high jump, shot put and netball. Some activities weren't actually in the commonwealth games. E.g scooter races. To win the Commonwealth games you had to get the most points from all the activities that you did. It was really exciting on the day so I liked it. Even though Samoa didn't  get the most points at the end and win we still had fun.The final result was that Jamaica won.

Heres a link of a video that our teacher made of our class passing the Greymain baton through our school garden:

James and the Giant Peach By Roald Dahl

James and the giant peach is a book about his adventure in a peach. He meets strange insects with all different personalities and comes across many different challenges along the way which he has to work to overcome. For example, one of his challenges was  a shark circling them so they had to try and tie string onto the flying seagulls so they could fly up to get out of the sharks site.

What I liked about the book was that it was unpredictable and I didn't really know what  was going to happen next. This made it exciting to read. Things were  happening quickly so I didn't lose interest in it..The other reason is because it is a book written by my favourite author Roald Dahl.

I would rate this book a 10/10 and I recommend you to read it.
